Fiorella Lema
CA FUNDIS Program Manager
Fiorella Lema is a queer ceramic sculptor, fiber artist, cultural bearer, and mycophile residing in the Peruvian diaspora.
Currently residing on unceded Raymatush Ohlone land, Fiorella works alongside fungi kin through various activities such as foraging, art creation, and cultivation, all aimed at addressing and healing relational fractures stemming from settler colonialism.
Through their artistic practice, Fiorella seeks to elevate ancestral and cultural wisdom from the Andean region, intertwining it with themes of ecology, ritual, and myth-making. This weaving of elements results in the construction of futuristic narratives that empower diasporic communities with narratives of abundance and resilience.
