My name is Geniva Aguayo, my current job position for FUNDIS is a Fungarium Assistant. I am from a small agricultural city known as Watsonville, CA. I currently attend California State University East Bay and majoring in Environmental Sciences B.S. Because I am pursuing higher education I am a first generation student, and from my time being there I have been able to be part of successful sustainability, environmental, and geology projects in the Bay Area. From my experience I hope I am able to pursue many other projects that will make a difference in my community or possibly the world. Finally, one of my favorite hobbies is hiking and some of my favorites in California are; Point Reyes National Seashore, Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park, and Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.
