Gisa Seeholzer

Director of Communications
Pine Mountain Club, CA

I am a communications and development professional with a background in environmental biology, conservation, nonprofit outreach, and storytelling. I hold a B.S. in Environmental Biology, with a focus on California’s fauna, flora, fungi, and coastal species. My work has ranged from community-based environmental projects and public engagement to publishing, communications strategy, fundraising, and partnership development. I have a particular interest in fungi, native plants, birds, community science, and the ways storytelling can deepen our connection to the natural world. At FUNDIS, I work to strengthen communications, expand organizational visibility, and connect the organization’s science and conservation work with broader communities, partners, and supporters.
