I am a biodiversity enthusiast and biology student from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I first became interested in studying mushrooms in 2018 and have, since then, explored a large portion of California in an effort to learn, document, and appreciate the beauty of these organisms. I particularly love exploring California's mountains and looking for cryptic species of mushrooms in mossy habitats. Studying mushrooms enriches my life immensely. My interest in mushrooms has snowballed into a desire to learn about every facet of the natural world and many other groups of organisms, and I'm now pursuing a degree in ecology. When I'm not out in nature I enjoy sequencing mushrooms and programming synthesizers.
