Nathan is the founder and President of Mushroom Observer, started in 2015 to record observations about mushrooms, help people identify mushrooms they aren't familiar with, and expand the community. His previous occupational background working in software engineering combined with his heart for fungi are what fruited his motivation to start such a valuable tool and resource for mycophiles.
